Now don't get me wrong, Maya Rudolph as host of Saturday Night Live on February 18 was probably the best episode this season, and I feel this sketch is proof of that. When this doesn't make the show, you know you have a lot of good material to work with. 
By all appearances, Papa is a normal guy. He’s a balding forty-four year-old man married with kids. The thing that stands out about Tom is his moxie. His on stage command of his material, humor and middle aged angst.
There are always Oscar moments to reminisce over, but one in particular from Sunday night really leaves the others in its dust (pun totally intended).
